Election Commission announces Lok Sabha poll dates for Maharashtra

The Election Commission today announced the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 7 phases.
Model Code of Conduct has come into force as EC announces the dates for the elections said Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora.
Maharashtra is representative of 48 Lok Sabha seats.
Maharashtra will go into polls in 4 phases.
The elections will start on April 11 and continue till May 19. The counting will be held on May 23.
