In a Lok Sabha election where the average age of candidates is as much as 55, four young candidates swept the elections at just 25 years of age. The candidates, all GenZs fought from different states and won their way to the Parliament. Pushpendra Saroj and Priya Saroj fought on Samajwadi Party tickets, while Shambhavi Choudhary was the youngest NDA candidate. Sanjana Yadav fought on a Congress ticket and won from Rajasthan.

Sanjana Jatav
The Congress candidate Sanjana Jatav defeated Ramswaroop Koli of the BJP by a margin of 51,983 votes to win the Bharatpur seat in Rajasthan. She made an attempt to win in Rajasthan's assembly elections last year, but she was defeated by BJP candidate Ramesh Khedi by a mere 409 votes. Sanjana is wed to Kaptan Singh, a police constable from Rajasthan.

Shambhavi Choudhary
Shambhavi Choudhary defeated Sunny Hazari of the Congress, her closest opponent, by a sizable margin of over one lakh votes to win from the Samastipur constituency. She is the daughter of Ashok Choudhary, who is a part of the Nitish Kumar-led cabinet in Bihar. At a rally earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended Shambhavi, 25, for being the youngest candidate in the NDA.

Pushpendra Saroj
Pushpendra Saroj, a member of the Samajwadi Party (SP), defeated Vinod Kumar Sonkar, the current BJP MP for Uttar Pradesh, by a margin of 1,03,944 votes to win the Kaushambi Lok Sabha seat. He is the son of Inderjit Saroj, the former minister of Uttar Pradesh, five-time MLA, and national general secretary of the Samajwadi Party. Notably, Sonkar defeated Inderjit Saroj for this seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Daughter of three-time MP Toofani Saroj, Priya Saroj at 25 is the last one of the four youngest MPs. She fought the Lok Sabha elections 2024 from Uttar Pradesh's Machhlishahr seat on a ticket from the Samajwadi Party. Priya Saroj defeated sitting BJP MP Bholanath by a margin of 35,850 votes.
