In the latest, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his political opponent and a member of the INDIA Bloc, Tejashwi Yadav of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), departed together in the same flight from Patna airport to Delhi.
The election results have positioned Nitish Kumar, whose Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) is an NDA ally, as a 'kingmaker' in the formation of the next government.

The JD(U) won 12 out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, making Kumar a key player as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) fell short of a majority on its own. Meanwhile, the RJD secured four seats in Bihar.
Meanwhile, the INDIA bloc is also courting Kumar, hoping to capitalize on the divided mandate.
Before leaving for Delhi, Yadav expressed satisfaction with the election outcome, highlighting the RJD's increased seat count and a good voter support.

"RJD has increased its number of seats in Parliament and garnered over one crore votes. Our performance has been very good. We had contested the elections on real issues. The INDIA bloc got the blessings of Lord Ram. One thing is very clear... the Modi factor is now finished. BJP is now dependent on its allies for majority," Yadav said.
He also confirmed that the INDIA bloc will actively 'try' government formation.
In a bid to solidify alliances, Kumar met the BJP's top brass over the weekend, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The saffron party's reliance on coalition partners is evident, as other NDA allies in Bihar, such as Chirag Paswan's Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), secured five and one seats respectively.
Chirag Paswan and his party's winning MPs also visited Nitish Kumar in the morning, seeking his blessings and congratulating him on JD(U)'s electoral success.
