PM Narendra Modi blamed Congress for keeping Samjhauta innocent jailed.
On the sidelines of his election rally in Kurukshetra, Haryana, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a brief interview to Times Now, justified his jibes at the Congress citing three reasons- Bhopal Gas tragedy, Bofors episode and the anti-sikh riots of 1984.

Responding to a question on BJP's achievements over the past five years, Modi said "Our work speaks for itself." He further added that there is a pro-incumbency wave, which is extremely encouraging for BJP and their allies.

Speaking on Mazood Azhar's designation as a global terrorist, he said that India's long efforts to fight terrorism has finally fructified after the global community recognized the threat emanating from terrorism and how vulnerable nations were to this menace.

At the rally, not only did Narendra Modi recite a list of abuses he has allegedly received from Congress leaders, but ended the list with the announcement that even though he never gets emotional on stage, this time he had to because he has "returned home."
