Thanks to Congress, our problem is now yours: Arun Jaitley on Shatrughan Sinha

Taking a veiled dig on Shatrughan Sinha, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today thanked Congress for accepting BJP's problem. Jaitley said that the political winds are not friendly to the Congress as the party led by Rahul Gandhi has failed to form any meaningful alliance in any state.

"Some eminent former BJP men have been accepted by the Congress as a gift. We thank Congress. Our problem in now yours. Good luck," Jaitley said in a Facebook blog.

He also attacked grand alliance. Calling Mahagathbandhan a circus, Jaitley said that the grand alliance has already failed as even as third phase of nomination deadline is getting over, there is no ‘gathbandhan’ let alone ‘mahagathbandhan’. Giving a state-wise analysis of grand alliance, Jaitley said the alliance has no leader, no programme, no meeting of minds and the stability is a major casualty.


"The only thing in common is negative agenda ‘’remove one man’. It is a recipe for chaos," Jaitley said.

In his analysis Jaitley also took a dig at BJP rebel Shatrughan Sinha who is soon to join Congress.

He said that each leader of the alliance has high hopes in a chaotic and highly hung Parliament as they believe that they have any chance to get power in a chaotic situation.
