Shah Rukh Khan to Akshay Kumar, List of celebrities attending PM Modi’s oath ceremony

Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi is set to take oath for a third consecutive term on Sunday (June 9), matching the feat of the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, amid tense negotiations between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership and allies over the share of berths for various National Democratic Alliance (NDA) constituents in the new government.

Bollywood celebrities Shahrukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Rajinikanth, as well as businessmen Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani, were present at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his cabinet's swearing-in event on Sunday.

Top industrialists Mukesh Ambani, his sons Anant and Akash, and son-in-law Anand Piramal were present, as was Gautam Adani, who was joined by his brother Rajesh Adani and wife Priti.


Along with his spouse, Chief Justice DY Chandrachud was also present. Pratibha Patil and Ram Nath Kovind, two former presidents, were also present.

1. Rajnikanth
South superstar Rajnikanth arrived at Rashtrapati Bhavan's Forecourt for the oath ceremony dressed in a white lungi shirt. Actor Rajinikanth has also traveled to Delhi to attend PM-designate Narendra Modi's swearing-in event. While speaking to the media, the actor added that this is a very great achievement, and his wishes are with Modi.

2. Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh Khan arrived at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi for the Prime Minister's swearing-in event. The actor wore a black attire for the event. He pulled his long hair into a tight ponytail and finished off his look with a pair of sunglasses.


3. Akshay Kumar
Akshay Kumar, who starred in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, has also traveled to Delhi for PM Modi's swearing-in event.

4. Kangana Ranaut
Kangana Ranaut, actor-turned-MP, wore a white saree to Narendra Modi's swearing-in event.


5. Vikrant Massey
Actor Vikrant Massey from 12th Fail and filmmaker Rajkummar Hirani of 3 Idiots have also arrived at Rashtrapati Bhawan for PM-elect Narendra Modi's swearing-in event.


6. Raveena Tandon
At Rashtrapati Bhawan, Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon was also sighted. The actor chose to wear a kanjivaram saree with her hair styled in mogras.

7. Anupam Kher
When actor Anupam Kher arrived in Delhi, he expressed gratitude for his good fortune in participating in the oath ceremony for the third time. The performer further described this event as a historic one.

8. Anil Kapoor
Anil Kapoor, the fighter actor, has also been to Delhi to witness the swearing-in of Narendra Modi. Anil Kapoor stated that his only goal is for the nation to develop.

9. Suresh Gopi
Suresh Gopi, a Kerala-born actor who is now the BJP's MP-elect, has traveled to Delhi to participate in PM-designate Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony this evening.

10. Hema Malini
Wearing a green silk saree, Hema Malini, the newly elected MP for the BJP from the Mathura Lok Sabha constituency, arrived at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

11. Gautam Adani
He is also present at Rashtrapati Bhawan for PM oath ceremony.
