Shah, HDK to hold roadshow in Bengaluru

Amit Shah and HD Kumaraswamy's joint roadshow in Channapatna aims to resolve differences. BJP contests 25 seats, JDS 3. Visits to UP and Tamil Nadu for meetings and strategy planning for Lok Sabha polls.

For the first time after entering into an alliance, Union home minister Amit Shah and JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy will hold a joint roadshow on Tuesday in Channapatna of Bangalore Rural Lok Sabha constituency.

The visit of Shah will also focus on ironing out minor differences between the alliance partners to achieve the goal of winning all the 28 LS seats of the state. The BJP is contesting on 25 Lok Sabha seats while the JDS is contesting on three LS seats.

Before the road show, the two leaders are supposed to hold a joint meeting of party officials to increase synergy and coordination.


On April 3, Shah will address a public meeting in Muzaffarnagar, UP. Shah will also travel to Moradabad and hold a BJP core group meeting of 16 Lok Sabha seats of West UP. The BJP leader will be traveling to Tamil Nadu for two days starting from Thursday. The BJP is focusing on the state and hopes to win a few seats. Apart from public meetings in Madurai, Sivaganga and Chennai, Shah will also meet the alliance partners and forge out a joint strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in the state.
