Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan
Union Minister and BJP candidate Dharmendra Pradhan is leading by 1,03,425 votes over Biju Janata Dal’s Pranab Prakash Das in the Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat in Odisha, according to the Election Commission of India.

Pradhan has received 4,53,716 votes while Das has got 3,50,291 votes. Congress candidate Nagendra Kumar Pradhan is in third place with 66,793 votes.

Pradhan is the Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. He previously held the portfolio of Ministry of Steel and was also the Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas. He was first elected as a Member of Lok Sabha in 2004.


He has also been a Member of Rajya Sabha from Bihar in 2012 and from Madhya Pradesh from 2018.
