Prime minister Narendra Modi does road show in Guwahati

Guwahati: Prime minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday did road show in Guwahati.

He did the roadshow in the Guwahati-Shillong. Thousands of people turned up to participate in the road show. Massive traffic arrangements were made for the road show.

Modi will address a rally in Nalbari ahead of the Lok Sabha elections on Wednesday.Modi will address an election rally at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala on Wednesday, the last day of the campaign for the first phase of 7-phase Lok Sabha election.


Tripura BJP spokesman Subrata Chakraborty on Tuesday said that Prime Minister Modi would address a mega election rally at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala on Wednesday afternoon, the last date of campaigning for the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections on April 19.

The Prime Minister will come to Tripura on Wednesday after campaigning in Assam.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made in Tripura's capital city Agartala and its outskirts in view of the Prime Minister’s visit.h

The West Tripura district administration has also declared a ‘no-fly zone’ and ‘red zone’ over the entire city and its outskirts.

West Tripura District Magistrate Vishal Kumar in a notification has banned the flying of drones and unmanned aerial vehicles within the jurisdiction of Agartala and its outskirts on Tuesday and Wednesday.I

"If anyone violates the order, he or she would be punished under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code,” the notification stated.

Restrictions of traffic in the city and its outskirts have been put in place.Northeast India accounts for 25 seats.
