Voter Turnout: West Bengal sees highest voter turnout at 78.4%, J&K lowest at 37.9%

Voting in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections was held on May 13, Monday.

96 constituencies across 10 states and union territories were in play during this phase of the Lok Sabha elections. Alongside, voting for Andhra Pradesh and Odisha's Assemblies was also conducted.

West Bengal registered the highest voter turnout at 78.4%, while Jammu and Kashmir registered the lowest turnout at 37.9%. Andhra Pradesh ranked second at 78.2%, followed by Odisha at 73.9%.

Of the 96 Lok Sabha seats, 25 are from Andhra Pradesh, 17 from Telangana, 13 from Uttar Pradesh, 11 from Maharashtra, eight each from Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, five from Bihar, four each from Jharkhand and Odisha, and one from Jammu and Kashmir.

Polling for all 175 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh and 28 seats of the State Legislative Assembly of Odisha also started simultaneously with the Lok Sabha polls.
