Congress has reportedly outperformed BJP on various social media platforms, highlighting a successful digital strategy. Supriya Shrinate, while discussing the party's approach, revealed significant figures showing Congress's dominance over BJP. The party's overall reach on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter was notably higher.

According to Shrinate, Congress garnered 613 million views on YouTube during the campaign, a stark contrast to BJP's 150 million views, showcasing a fourfold difference. This substantial difference indicates a stronger connection between the Congress's message and the public, with issues like inflation and unemployment resonating more with the audience.

Shrinate emphasized the party's ability to understand public sentiment, stating, "We have data that shows what people wanted to listen to and who they wanted to listen to." This statement underlines the party's focus on aligning its message with the electorate's interests, a strategy that seems to have paid off in the digital sphere.

The data collected between March 16 and May 30 provides a clear picture of Congress's social media dominance. On Instagram, Congress averaged 122,000 likes, far surpassing BJP's average of 26,945 likes. Similarly, on Twitter, Congress's average likes ranged from 2,500 to 3,000, while BJP lagged behind with averages of 260 to 300 likes.

Facebook also saw Congress leading, with average likes ranging from 1,200 to 1,500, compared to BJP's 150 to 250 likes. The reach on Facebook surged from 50 million in March to 105 million in May, indicating a growing engagement with the Congress's content.

On Instagram, Congress's reach surged from 78 million in March to 154 million in May, highlighting a consistent growth in audience engagement and indicating a strong digital presence.

These figures suggest a significant shift in social media dynamics, with Congress effectively leveraging digital platforms to amplify its message and engage with the public. The party's strategic approach to social media seems to have resonated with the electorate, paving the way for a new era of digital campaigning in Indian politics.
