This constituency in Assam, from where AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal is seeking a fourth successive term, has surpassed its own record from 2019, which stood at 90.7%.
In contrast, Nawada in Bihar posted the lowest turnout at 43.2%, with 11.4 lakh out of over 20 lakh registered voters abstaining from voting.
Barpeta, also in Assam, follows closely behind Dhubri with a turnout of 85.2%, albeit lower than its 2019 performance.
Amreli in Gujarat witnessed the lowest turnout during the third phase at 50.3%.


Excluding the constituencies in Assam where delimitation occurred, the 2019 turnout in these seats was approximately 66%. Notably, Assam witnessed a significant increase in turnout, with the four seats recording 85.5%, compared to 81.6% reported earlier.

Among the 93 seats that went to polls, 39 recorded higher turnout, including all seven seats in Chhattisgarh, all 14 in Karnataka, and the two in Goa.
