Congress shuts rumours of Priyanka vs Modi contest, fields Ajay Rai from Varanasi
The Congress today shut down all rumours of party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi contesting the 2019 Lok Sabha elections after fielding Ajay Rai as their candidate from Varanasi against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Madhusudan Tiwari has been announced as the Congress candidate from Gorakhpur against BJP's Ravi Kishan.
