Phase 2: 88 Seats|Parliamentary Polls contest heat up
Voting for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections will be held today, sealing the fate of 1,202 candidates in the fray for 88 seats spread across 12 states and J&K. Close to 16 crore registered electors will be eligible to cast their vote. More than a third of LS seats (189) will be covered with the completion of this phase of polling. The results will be declared on June 4. The key details:
