Coimbatore Lok Sabha Elections 2024: The Coimbatore Lok Sabha constituency in Tamil Nadu encompasses several assembly segments, including Palladam, Sulur, Kavundampalayam, Coimbatore (North), Coimbatore (South), and Singanallur. Currently represented by PR Natarajan of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)), Coimbatore is gearing up for a high-stakes battle in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on April 19.

Coimbatore Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Key Candidates
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has nominated Tamil Nadu party president K Annamalai to contest the seat, setting the stage for a face-off against Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader Ganapathy P Rajkumar and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam’s (AIADMK) Singai Ramachandran.

While the CPI(M) aims to fortify its position in the Kongu region, traditionally a stronghold of Left parties, the DMK's decision to field its own candidate instead of aligning with CPI(M) could alter the electoral landscape significantly.
