BJP manifesto 2024: Ramayan Utsav to be organised across the world, says party in poll pitch

In its poll pitch, the party has included the promise of global celebrations of Ramayan Utsav if it assumes power.
"Ramayan is celebrated across the world, particularly in South and South-East Asia. We will launch a global outreach program for documenting and promoting the tangible and intangible legacy of Lord Ram in all countries. We will celebrate Ramayan Utsav with great fervour across the globe to commemorate the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla," said the party in its poll pitch.
Apart from pledging global celebrations of Ramayan Utsav, PM Modi asserted that the BJP will work towards implementing the one nation, one election initiative, and stressed that the Uniform Civil Code was in the national interest.
"BJP will start working on the promises made in the manifesto immediately after the results are declared on June 4," Modi said.
"I present this Sankalp Patra of the BJP as a document of 'Modi ki Guarantee' to the people of the nation for their blessings," he said.
The voting will begin on April 19 and the results will be declared on June 4, 2024. The term of the 17th Lok Sabha Assembly will expire on June 16, 2024. The elections will be held in seven phases. The first phase will be held on April 19, second phase on April 26, third phase on May 7, the fourth phase on May 13, fifth phase on May 20, sixth phase on May 25 and the seventh phase on June 1, 2024.
