BJP is planning a special three to four days briefing of the representatives of political parties from different countries.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on several occasions during his talk sessions abroad and during campaigning in India has said that democracy in India is in danger. Now to counter the Congress narrative, the BJP has sent invites to political parties of 25 countries across the world to take the first-hand experience of BJP campaign and election management during 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Sources told ET that the invites have been sent to all the major democracies and neighbouring countries. Political parties of around 15 countries have confirmed the participation. The confirmation list includes political parties from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Tanzania, Mauritius, Uganda, among others. Sources tell ET that the party will release a list once it gets confirmation from more countries.

"Rahul Gandhi always says that there is no democracy in India. Now we want to give a ground experience of BJP's election campaign to the world and they themselves can see the 'Modi Magic' on the ground," Pratyush Kanth, BJP national spokesperson, told ET.

The party is planning a special three to four days briefing of the representatives of political parties from different countries. Thereafter several batches consisting of four to five leaders would be traveling in the third and fourth phase of election. The trip would be of three days where the leaders will attend rallies, meet with BJP booth workers and see the functioning of the party.

The party did a pilot of the project during recently held assembly elections.
