Azadi slogans are now heard in PoK, we will take it back: Amit Shah
Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) is an integral part of India and will be reclaimed. Speaking at rallies in Serampore, West Bengal, and Aska, Odisha, Shah highlighted recent protests in PoK, where "azaadi...

Shah said this while speaking at a rally in Serampore, West Bengal. On Wednesday, he addressed another rally at Aska in Odisha.
PoK recently witnessed protests where the "azaadi" slogans were raised, Shah said in Serampore.
"Following the abrogation of Article 370 by the Modi government in 2019, peace has returned to Kashmir. Now protests have started in PoK. The slogans of azadi which were heard here earlier, the same slogans are now heard in PoK. Earlier stones were pelted here, now stones are pelted in PoK," Shah said.
He accused West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of trying to prevent the abrogation of Article 370. "When I asked them in Parliament, they said that rivers of blood will flow. After five years, let alone rivers of blood, no one even dared to light a fire. Following the abrogation, Kashmir is with Bharat forever. This is Modi and his governance," he said. "Now agitation happens in PoK, not the part which is with this country. We will occupy PoK. Whether Rahul baba and Mamata didi are afraid, we will occupy PoK," he declared.
At Aska earlier in the day, Shah alleged that Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik had pushed the state back by 50 years during BJD's 25-year rule, and urged voters to give an opportunity to BJP.
