AAP releases four-person list of candidates to contest Lok Sabha elections from Punjab

The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday released a list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, naming four contestants from Punjab.

Tuesday's announcement saw candidates named for the Ferozpur, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar and Ludhiana seats.

On the list are Jagdeep Singh Brar, Amansher Singh, Pawan Kumar Tinu, and Ashok Parashar Pappi.


The Delhi-based party is fielding four candidates that are all current members of Punjab's legislative assembly.

One of the four, Pawan Kumar Tinu, switched over to the party from the Shiromani Akali Dal and is being feilded from the Jalandhar seat, which is an SC quota constituency.
