Winning a Lok Sabha election is no easy task. But there are a few politicians who have made winning a habit and an even smaller club that makes it look easy. Sumitra Mahajan, for example, has represented Indore eight consecutive times. But the outgoing Speaker is not contesting the elections to the 17th Lok Sabha. KH Muniyappa of the Congress has won from Kolar seven straight times and is aiming for an eighth term. ET Magazine lists the most successful Lok Sabha MPs of all time, the veterans who are once again in the fray and the constituencies that will see a new MP in at least two decades.
