Delhi Traffic Restrictions: A training programme for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections is scheduled at Delhi Technological University (DTU) in Shahbad Daulatpur on May 16 and May 17. Due to this event, the Delhi Traffic Police have implemented traffic restrictions in the area from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on both days.

"In view of training programme for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 at The Delhi Technological University on 16.05.2024 & 17.05.2024 from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm, traffic restrictions and diversions will be effective," the traffic police said in an advisory.



To ensure smooth traffic flow and an uninterrupted journey, commuters are advised to plan their routes in advance and use alternate roads during these times, according to a traffic police advisory.

Suggested Alternate Routes:

For commuters from Shahbad Dairy heading to DTU/Samaypur Badli Metro Station: Take a right turn at St. Xavier's red light and proceed via K.N. Katju Marg to reach your destination.

For commuters from Samaypur Badli Metro/Sector 18 & 19, Rohini heading to Shahbad Dairy: Turn left from Sector 16, Rohini, proceed to K.N. Katju Marg, and take a U-turn on K.N. Katju Marg to reach your destination.

General advice: Follow the instructions of traffic police personnel deployed in the area to avoid any inconvenience.

These measures are in place to manage traffic effectively during the election training days at DTU.
