The sixth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections is scheduled to be held on May 25. National capital Delhi will go into polls during the penultimate phase of the elections on the day with all its Lok Sabha constituencies, along with 51 constituencies across seven states.

The Congress and the AAP, who are members of the INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance) alliance, have reached a seat-sharing arrangement after running against one another in the previous two elections. Arvind Singh Lovely, the state leader of the Indian National Congress, is fielding candidates in three Lok Sabha seats, while Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party will compete for four seats.

While the BJP is contesting all the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party has fielded its candidates from four Lok Sabha constituencies, leaving the remaining three for Congress as part of the INDIA alliance. In New Delhi, BJP's Bansuri Swaraj - daughter of Sushma Swaraj - will face AAP's Somnath Bharti. In West Delhi, BJP's Kamaljeet Sehrawat is up against Mahabal Mishra while Ramvir Singh Bidhuri of the saffron party will face Sahi Ram Pehelwan of AAP in South Delhi. Harsh Malhotra of BJP, on the other hand, will fight against Kuldeep Kumar of AAP in East Delhi.

Delhi Lok Sabha election previous results
In the Lok Sabha elections of 2014 and 2019, the Bharatiya Janata Party won every seat in the Lok Sabha from Delhi. In 2024, the party hopes to pull off the same success. With a 46.40% vote share in the Delhi constituency in 2014, the BJP had won every seat that year. In 2019, it performed better, receiving 56.86% of the vote.
