Delhi BJP to hold mega gathering of Hindu saints and seers at IGI stadium ahead of LS polls
Delhi BJP hosts mega conclave at IGI stadium to celebrate Hindu new year, Ram temple construction, and Ramlalla idol consecration in Ayodhya. Event features discussions on Santana Dharma, Hanuman Chalisa chanting, and prominent attendees.

The grand consecration ceremony in Ayodhya was held in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22 this year.
The saints and seers gathered for the event will also speak about the importance of "Santana Dharma", party leaders said.
More than 31,000 devout Hindus, including over 5,000 saints, seers and temple priests, will gather at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Delhi to chant the Hanuman Chalisa, said Karnail Singh, coordinator of Temple cell of Delhi BJP.
Singh said several Union ministers and senior BJP leaders will also be present in the programme.
Sources said that Union Minister Piyush Goel was one of the invited guests for the event.
The BJP is contesting the Lok Sabha polls on all seven seats in Delhi that it has won back to back with huge margins in 2014 and 2019. The party is pitted in a direct contest on all seats on which the INDIA bloc partners -- AAP and Congress -- have fielded their candidates.
The AAP is contesting four of the seven parliamentary seats while the Congress the remaining three.
"Across the country, including in Delhi, people celebrate the new year, Christmas, so the Hindu new year should also be celebrated with same vigour. This event is being held to focus on Indian culture and its values by celebrating different festivals that fall in the beginning of Hindu new year," Singh said.
April 9 marked the start of Vikram Samvat 2081 as per the Hindu calender.
Several renowned Hindu religious figures, including 31 Mahamandleshwars, will also attend the programme, Singh said.
Delhi BJP media cell head Praveen Shankar Kapoor said the objective of the programme is to awaken the youth about their culture and to convey a message among the people about its importance.
He said the programme was going to be a "historic" one with more than 35,000 people chanting the Hanuman Chalisa simultaneously under one roof.
