Shatrughan Sinha to contest election on Congress ticket: Reports

Disgruntled BJP leader and a vocal critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shatrughan Sinha might contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls on a Congress ticket.

As per media reports, Sinha may fight the upcoming polls from Bihar's Patna Sahib constituency on a Congress ticket.

Shatrughan Sinha has been very critical of the top leadership of BJP, including Amit Shah and Narendra Modi.


News wire agency, IANS earlier reported that Sinha has nil chance of getting a ticket from BJP for the Patna Sahib constituency this time from where he won the Lok Sabha polls both in 2009 and 2014.

Another BJP leader, Kirti Azad too is said to be keen on fighting the upcoming polls on a Congress ticket.
