Traders take a day off to fight VAT

Commercial activity across Maharashtra and neighbouring states of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh on Monday slowed down as thousands of traders, began a two-day strike to protest the implementation of value added tax from Tuesday.
