TN budget likely to be presented on March 23

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu budget for 2007-08 is likely to be presented in the Assembly by Finance Minister K Anbazhagan on March 23.

The budget session would commence on March 22.

Official sources said the session would be adjourned that day after condoling the death of S V Shunmugam of the AIADMK, who represented Madurai West in the state assembly.
