Taxation no longer a burden to India after GST: PM Narendra Modi
In an interview to Network 18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted how the Goods and Services Tax ( GST) will help the economy.

“The common man will cease to pay hundreds of taxes at hundreds of points of contact,” pointed out the Prime Minister.

“When thousands of trucks wait at the state border trying to prove that they have paid the due taxes that they are supposed to the state government, not only do we waste fuel but also man hours out of the Indian economy,” explained PM Modi.

Now with GST not only will the common man find it easier to pay taxes but the economy will also grow with leaps and bounds owing to simplicity and transparency of taxation processes, he said.
