Shah shifted to planning panel

NEW DELHI: Industry secretary R R Shah has been moved to the planning commission as secretary.
It is learnt that some issues on the transferring of FIPB to the finance ministry have resulted in this exit.
Laxmi Chand, additional secretary, coal ministry has been moved in Mr Shah’s place. There has been speculation on the turf war between finance ministry and industry ministry on the moving of FIPB which was earlier under the charge of the industry ministry.
