SCOPE unveils new logo for PSUs

NEW DELHI: The apex association of PSUs, SCOPE on Thursday unveiled its new logo exhibiting the role of the public sector in overall economic development of the country.

"In view of the new role which public sector has now got and new visibility in its performance, is the new logo all about," S M Deewan, Director General of SCOPE said.

"We have reached at a stage where we are opening up ourselves... earlier SCOPE was entertaining only 100 per cent government owned enterprises but in the changed scenario, companies with just 26 per cent government holding are also our members," he added.

SCOPE''s new logo in dark midnight blue colour, registers effectively and visual friendly and conveys the combination of twin messages outlined above, he said.

The new logo was released by SCOPE chairman S Behuria, who is also CMD of Indian Oil Corporation.
