Saubhagya power scheme: Total outlay at Rs 16,320 cr; gross budgetary support at Rs 12,320 cr
PM Narendra Modi on Monday announced Saubhagya power scheme --- a scheme for providing 24X7 electricity to all—at a total outlay of Rs 16,320 crore, reported ET Now. The announcement was made during the BJP national executive meet. The scheme will be reportedly funded by 60% GOI grant, 10% states and 30% loans.
