Saroj Poddar takes over as FICCI president

NEW DELHI: Gillette India Ltd Chairman Saroj K Poddar took over as the President of FICCI on Sunday.
Poddar, who replaces Onkar S Kanwar of Apollo Tyres, is also the Chairman of Poddar Heritage Enterprises and Alstom group of companies.
Chairman Wockhardt Ltd, Habil Khorakiwala has been elected as Senior Vice President of the chamber and N Srinivansan, Vice Chairman and MD of India Cements Ltd is the Vice President, a FICCI release said.
They were elected at the 78th annual session of the chamber on Sunday.
