CHANDIGARH: With the eGoM imposing a cap of 12,500 acres on SEZs, major players, including RIL, DLF Universal and Unitech, are readying to tweak projects in Haryana. RIL is said to be contemplating restructuring the project.

A spokesperson for DLF Universal, which had proposed a 20,000-acre SEZ in Gurgaon, told ET the company hasn’t analysed the proposal. DLF has not acquired any land. But sources said raising the minimum area for processing will dent its plans. Unitech, which had planned a 10,000-acre SEZ in Rai, may rework its plans. Unitech, too, has not acquired land.
