VIJAYWADA: All India Kisan Sabha vice- president Kolli Nageswara Rao today demanded the Central government to purchase foodgrains through Food Corporation of India(FCI).
The ban of the transportation of food grains between one to another state in the country should not be withdrawn, Rao told reporters here.
He demanded the governnment to supply all essential commodities through public distribution system(PDS) on fifty per cent subsidy to the poor people.
