PM to evaluate power, oil sector reforms

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will hold an intensive session with member of his council on trade and industry tomorrow on reforms in the power and petroleum sectors.

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will hold an intensive session with member of his council on trade and industry tomorrow on reforms in the power and petroleum sectors.
Ratan Tata, Kumaramangalam Birla, Nusli Wadia, AC Muthiah, Rajeev Chandrasekar and the presidents of the three industry and trade chambers are scheduled to attend the meeting.
Mukesh Ambani, N Srinavasan and N R Narayana Murthy are other members of the council. Power minister Suresh Prabhu and petroleum minister Ram Naik will make presentations on Electricity Bill 2002 and Petroleum Regulatory Board Bill 2002.
