In an attempt to integrate the fruits of modern technology with the country''s justice delivery system, Supreme Court Chief Justice GB Pattanaik on Friday announced the constitution of an advisory board to develop a national vision and strategy to use modern technology effectively to improve the judicial system.
The 19-member advisory board, which the Centre has set up with the Chief Justice''s approval, will be headed by Justice VN Khare, the Supreme Court''s senior-most judge.
The national mission group''s objective, a statement issued by the Supreme Court, said here on Friday, would be to evolve a comprehensive and co-ordinated strategy to harness the power of modern technology to improve the justice delivery system of the country.
