Nod for expanding e-governance scheme

The government on Thursday approved a scheme for taking the national e-governance plan to all states and union territories.

NEW DELHI: The government on Thursday approved a scheme for taking the national e-governance plan to all states and union territories. CCEA gave its approval to the capacity building scheme, which has an outlay of Rs 313 crore for a period of three years. CCEA also approved allocation of Rs 24 crore to India Trade Promotion Organisation for facilitating India's participation in World Expo, to be held in Shanghai in 2010.

CCEA also increased minimum support price of copra for 2008 season to Rs 3,660 per quintal for milling variety and Rs 3,910 for ball copra.
