The Cabinet Committee on Disinvestment has taken no decision to split IOC, according to Union petroleum minister Ram Naik.

NEW DELHI: The Cabinet Committee on Disinvestment has taken no decision to split IOC, according to Union petroleum minister Ram Naik.
The CCD is considering various options: a judicial remedy, examining the possibility of legislation offering a way out and swapping IOC for HPCL and BPCL.
Refusing to comment on the proposal, he said the matter had to be discussed by the petroleum and disinvestment ministries. Mr Naik told ET: “As of now, these are the only options put forth for consideration. The petroleum minister and the disinvestment minister have to work together on all three options and reach a decision.�
