‘No Lindsey Graham Bill in Europe’, ‘multilateralism has weakened’: FM Sitharaman on bilateral deals

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman says bilateral agreements are gaining ground as countries search for new trade partners and multilateralism weakens. Speaking at the Munich Leaders Meeting in New Delhi, she also addressed India’s strategic autonomy over Russian oil purchases, saying there is “no Lindsey Graham Bill in Europe”. Sitharaman added that India could conclude bilateral investment protection agreements with at least three more countries by December.
