No excise duty on DVD/CDs

Recorded video compact discs and digital video discs have been exempted from excise duty.
On raw materials used for manufacture of electronic components or optical fibres and cables, customs duty, which ranged between 5-15 per cent, has now been reduced to 5-0 per cent.
