New Company Bill in coming Parliament session: Minister
Union Minister of Corporate Affairs Prem Chand Gupta said on Saturday that the Ministry would be introducing New Company Bill and Limited Liability Partnership Bill during the coming Parliament session.

CHENNAI: Union Minister of Corporate Affairs Prem Chand Gupta said on Saturday that the Ministry would be introducing New Company Bill and Limited Liability Partnership Bill during the coming Parliament session.
After inaugurating the Corporate Bhavan of the Ministry here, he told reporters that the new Company Bill will be simple and easy as compared to the one earlier. The present Companies Act contained a lot of sections that were unnecessary for the "present scenario", he said adding the new Bill will remove the "complicated" procedures.
The new Bill mainly focuses on self-regulation of companies and minimising government's regulation, he said.
