NDA to move privilege notices against PM

The opposition has decided to move notices for breach of privilege against Manmohan Singh for leaking contents of the budget to Sonia Gandhi.

NEW DELHI: The opposition NDA on Monday decided to move notices for breach of privilege against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for allegedly leaking contents of the budget to UPA Chairperson and Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

This was decided at the meeting of the leaders of the alliance chaired by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Indian Federal Democratic Party leader P C Thomas said.

He said the NDA members may also raise the issue before the presenation of the budget by Finance Minister P Chidambaram later on Monday.

The members are expected to move separate notices with Thomas leading them.
