Karnataka government offers incubation centre for non-resident Kannadigas at special rentals

This is one of the several features of the NRK policy released by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Industries & Infrastructure Minister R.V.Deshpande on Friday, ahead of the three-day Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is opening in Bengaluru on Sunday.
The NRI Forum, which the government set up in 2008, will undertake periodical campaigns across districts to inform people about the job opportunities available overseas, and the need for skilling.
The Forum, according to the Industries Minister, will associate with Overseas Workers Resource Centre (OWRC) helpdesk, which is operational round the clock through toll free number 1800-11-3090 in India and +91-124-2341002 for Indian immigrants working overseas.
The Forum, in collaboration with Ministry of External Affairs and in consultation with the Karnataka Legal Services Authority would extend all possible legal services to NRIs/NRKs in distress during their overseas employment period, the policy says.
