JD(U) Nitish Kumar questions BJP's appointment of junior ministers
BETTIAH: Senior JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar today took a dig at BJP's appointment of eight ministers at the Centre.

"Majority of them have been made Ministers of State and everybody knows a MOS gets work only on sweet will of the Cabinet minister of that department," Kumar said at the first meeting of his fortnight long 'Sampark Yatra'.

"One of them originally hails from Odisha but is counted among ministers from Bihar...People of Odisha are also celebrating describing him as a representative of the state in the Union ministry," Kumar said in an apparent reference to Minister of State (Independent charge) Dharmendra Pradhan.

He also questioned why BJP didn't give representation to Dalits, extremely backward caste or minorities while selecting ministers from Bihar.

"In the 1998 NDA government of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Bihar had Defence, Finance as well Railway Ministers among others, Kumar said.
