Jairam Ramesh discusses rural programmes with Nitish Kumar
Union Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh today discussed implementation of various rural development schemes in Bihar with the state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

During their 45-minute long meeting, Ramesh shared his views on the execution of development programmes in the Maoist-affected Rohtas district which he had visited, official sources said.
Ramesh asked the state government to implement the Integrated Action Plan in Rohtas district on the lines of schemes under implementation in Saranda and Saryu districts in Jharkhand.
The two leaders also discussed implementation of various central flagship schemes in Bihar by the Rural Works and Rural Development departments.
