India to sign pact to revive flights to Kabul & Tehran

HYDERABAD: INDIA is expected to sign a tripartite agreement with Afghanistan and Iran to introduce flights between New Delhi-Kabul and New Delhi-Tehran.

hyderabad: india is expected to sign a tripartite agreement with afghanistan and iran to introduce flights between new delhi-kabul and new delhi-tehran. the agreement will be signed shortly that will help revive ties between the three nations, mr ali ghomi, counsel general of islamic republic of iran said here on saturday. addressing a press conference on the occasion of 23rd anniversary of the victory of islamic revolution in iran, mr ghomi said with the installation of a new government in afghanistan, iran has extended financial assistance along with other countries in reconstruction of the war-ravaged country. “we want to revive and strengthen our relations with afghanistan, besides helping rebuild the nation,� he said. commenting on the india-iran relation, he said the age-old cultural and trade relationship between india and iran had strengthened over a period of time. with increase in passenger traffic and exports from hyderabad, a direct flight between hyderabad and tehran would be introduced shortly, ghomi said.
