GST rate cut: Govt mulls Rs 1 cr fine on errant restaurants
Sources tell ET Now that govt is considering Rs 1 cr fine on restaurants if benefits not passed to diners of GST rate cut. Notably, GST Council had slashed rates last week for both air conditioned and non-air-conditioned restaurants from 18% to 5% without input tax credit. Tune in!!!
