Govt okays BIPA agreement with Trinidad & Tobago

The Government on Thursday gave its approval for signing a Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement with Trinidad and Tobago.

NEW DELHI: The Government on Thursday gave its approval for signing a Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement with Trinidad & Tobago.
The agreement shall be in force for a period of 10 years.
India already has Bilateral Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (BIPA) with 60 countries.
The decision to sign BIPA with Trinidad & Tobago will help increase investment between the two countries.
