Govt dichotomy in stance on life form patents

NEW DELHI: The Patents (Second Amendment) Bill, 1999, as modified by the Joint Parliamentary Committee and tabled in Parliament, has revealed a serious dichotomy in India’s stance on patenting of life forms.
