NEW DELHI: The government has asked Indian Potash Ltd and Indian Labour Cooperative Society, which have received Supreme Court's nod for reviving Super Bazaar, to submit a copy of proposed investments for enabling Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies to take further action.
Supreme Court has approved the proposal submitted by IPL and PLCS for revival of Super Bazaar, Minister of State for Agriculture Taslimuddin told Lok Sabha in a written reply.
The Supreme Court has also permitted IPL and ILCS to give effect to the proposal in accordance with law, he said.
He said the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation has asked IPL and ILCS to send a copy of the modalities to Supreme Court and a copy of the scheme indicating proposed investments to enable CRCS to take further action.
The next date of hearing fixed by the Supreme Court is May 10, 2007, the minister said
The Liquidator, Super Bazaar, Delhi has informed that after the orders for winding up of Super Bazaar was issued by the CRCS, 897 employees opted for voluntary scheme and 12 employees were dismissed, he said.
