Information and Broadcasting Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Sunday sidestepped a question if the government had decided against foreign direct investment in news agencies.

CHENNAI: Information and Broadcasting Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Sunday sidestepped a question if the government had decided against foreign direct investment in news agencies.
"Are you ready for it?", he shot back when asked whether the government has taken any decision on it.
The government had allowed FDI to the tune of 24 per cent in print media and 100 per cent in entertainment sector, he told reporters at Chennai airport.
